Claudia grew up in Sicily, where she completed her secondary school education. She moved to Scotland in 2015 to study English and Comparative Literature at the University of Glasgow. She is currently a MLitt student of Comparative Literature at the University of St Andrews. Her interests include contemporary Sicilian literature and the notion of the ‘glocal’. She is applying for PhD positions in the fields of Comparative and Italian literature starting in 2021.
